The Intro to Tech Diving Course, introduces students to the world of Technical Diving. This course is designed as an introductory course to the Advanced Nitrox, Deco Procedure or any of the Overhead Environment course. The objective of this course is to familiarize students with technical gear configurations, to enhance open water diving skills (such as buoyancy, trim and team awareness), and to introduce students to an advanced gas planning techniques within a no decompression context. This course is a non decompression course but the student are permitted to use Enriched Air Nitrox mixes, provided the gas mix is within their current level of certification.

This course requires the use of double tanks, lift bags and spools.

a) Days Require: Min 3 Full Days

b) Academic Hours: 6 Hours Min

c) Require Dives: 4 Open Water Dives

d) Technical Diving Training Site: Island of Cozumel, Q.roo, Mexico. Also my training is available in Playa del Carmen, Tulum, and Akumal, also in the state of Yucatan (City of Merida), or in any foreign countries with open water conditions.

e) Certification Level: The candidate must be Advanced Open Water Diver or 2 Star Diver with at least 25 non training dives in log book.

Training Agency: Once the candidate approves all the requirements a certification can be issued through Technical Diving International (TDI).

If divers are interesting, we also offer training through the Mexican Federation of Diving Activities (FMAS), which is under the standards of the World Underwater Federation (CMAS) Technical Diving Commission

Course Cost: 1 Diver 600, 00 usd, 2 or more Divers 450, 00 usd.

This is the entry level certification course for recreational divers wishing to utilize Enriched Air Nitrox as a breathing gas. The objective of this course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for using Nitrox mixes from 22 to 40 percent oxygen content.

This course can be taught in open water or overhead environment using double tanks.

a) Days Require: Min 2 Full Days

c) Require Dives: 2 Open Water Dives

e) Certification Level: The candidate must be Open Water Diver or 1 Star Diver with at least 10 non training dives in log book.

This course examines the use of EANx 21 through 100 percent oxygen for optimal mixes to a depth of 40 meters (130 ft). The objective of this course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for utilizing EANx 21 to 100 percent oxygen for dives not requiring stage decompression.

Decompression Techniques may be combined with this course at the discretion of the instructor, also this program can be taught in doubles or single tank using a 30 cubic feet stage bottle.

This course examines the theory, methods and procedures of planned stage decompression diving. This program is designed as stand-alone or it may be taught in conjunction with such TDI or FMAS/CMAS courses as Advanced Nitrox Diving Course or Extended Range Diving Course.

The objective to this course is to train divers how to plan and conduct an standard stage decompression dive, not exceeding a maximum depth of 45 meters (150 ft) unless taught in conjunction with the Extended range Diving Course.

The most common equipment requirements, gear set up and decompression techniques are presented. Students are permitted to utilize EANx mixes or Oxygen for decompression provided the gas mix is within their current certification level.

This course can be taught in doubles and is require the use of 40 cubic feet deco bottles.

This course provides training and experienced required to competently utilize air for dives to 55 meters (180 ft) that requires stage decompression, utilizing nitrox mixes or oxygen during decompression.

The objective of this program, is to train divers in the proper techniques, equipment requirements and hazards of deep air diving.

The course is taught in double tanks and is required stage bottles for decompression; during this course the candidate will learn the use of software for decompression.

a) Days Require: Min 4 Full Days

b) Academic Hours: 8 Hours Min

c) Require Dives: 4 Open Water Air Dives (100 minutes bottom time)

d) Technical Diving Training Sites: Island of Cozumel, Q.roo, Mexico. Also my training is available in Playa del Carmen, Tulum, and Akumal, also in the state of Yucatan (City of Merida) or other foreign countries with open water conditions.

e) Certification Level: The candidate must be Advanced Open Water Diver or 2 Star Diver, Decompression Procedures Diver Level, with at least 100 non training dives with Nitrox and Air in log book.

Training Agency: Once the candidate approves all the requirements a certification can be issued through Technical Diving International (TDI).

This course is taught in doubles and requires at least 2 stage bottles for The Entry Level Trimix Course provides the training required to competently and safely utilize breathing gases containing helium for dives that require stage decompression, utilizing nitrox and/or oxygen mixtures during decompression to a maximum depth of 60 meters (200 ft). The objective of this course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures of utilizing custom oxygen/helium/nitrogen mixtures as breathing gases. Gas mixes should not be hypoxic.

The course is taught in double tanks and with at least one stage deco bottle for decompression.

a) Days Require: Min 5 Full Days

b) Academic Hours: 8 Hours Min

c) Require Dives: 4 Open Water Deep Dives (100 minutes bottom time)

This course is taught in doubles and requires at least 2 stage bottles for The Entry Level Trimix Course provides the training required to competently and safely utilize breathing gases containing helium for dives that require stage decompression, utilizing nitrox and/or oxygen mixtures during decompression to a maximum depth of 100 meters (330 ft). The objective of this course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures of utilizing custom oxygen/helium/nitrogen mixtures as breathing gases. Gas mixes can be hypoxic.

The course is taught in double tanks and with at least two stage deco bottles for decompression.

This program is not part of the Full Tech Program. This has to be a separate class.

This course provides the training required to allow candidates to competently and safely blend Nitrox or Trimix gas.

The objective of this program is to train candidates in the proper techniques, equipment requirements and hazards involved in blending Nitrox and Trimix for Recreational or Technical divers.

a) Days Require: Min 3 Full Days

b) Academic Hours: 15 Hours Min

c) Require Dives: Not necessary.

d) Technical Diving Training Sites: Island of Cozumel, Q.roo, Mexico. Also my training is available in Playa del Carmen, Tulum, and Akumal, also in the state of Yucatan (City of Merida) or other foreign countries with fill stations according to the international regulations.

If you are an experienced open water instructor with experienced in TECHNICAL DIVING you can be a candidate for this institutes.

During this program you are NOT learning how to teach or how organize and conduct a safe technical dive, you must be already experience guiding in deep dives and you must have a letter by another technical diving instructor recognizing your experience and also co-teaching in different technical diving levels with at least one tech instructor.

In this institute you will be evaluated in protocols, planning, standards and procedures, leadership, communication skills, safety, and many other topics.

For this type of evaluations the candidate must contact directly before apply for this level of teaching.

The candidate must be fitness, 21 years or older, have a medical approval, have at least a recommendation letter by another tech instructor from any international technical diving agency.

a) Days Require: Min 4 Full Days for each instructor level (except for Nitrox Instructor)

b) Academic Hours: 30 Hours Min for each Instructor level

c) Require Dives: 6 Evaluation Dives

d) Technical Diving Training Site: Island of Cozumel, Q.roo, Mexico. Also my training is available in Playa del Carmen, Tulum, and Akumal, also in the state of Yucatan (City of Merida). The institute can be organize, and conduct in other countries with the proper location, infrastructure and conditions for the request level of training.

e) Certification Level: The candidate must be open water instructor, tech diver for the level he request, Oxygen administrator, first aid instructor, 150 non training dives. Please contact the Instructor Trainer, there are another requirements and also specific issues for each course.

Training Agency: Once the candidate approves all the requirements, a certification can be issued by Technical Diving International (TDI) or Federacion Mexicana de Actividades Subacuaticas A.C (FMAS) and World Underwater Federation (CMAS)

Institute cost: This has to be arrange directly with the Instructor Trainer: German Yañez Mendoza TDI IT 712 and FMAS/CMAS IT 01 each course has particular requirements and cost fees.

This is the entry level certification course for divers wishing to utilize a Electronic Closed Circuit Rebreather for air diving.

The objective of the course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for diving an Electronic Closed Circuit Rebreather and to develop basic eCCR diving skills to a maximum of 30 meters (100 ft) using air as a diluents, No decompression diving is allowed on this program.

The diver must use a lift bag and carry an air or nitrox bailout bottle during the class, and in practical dives.

a) Days Require: Min 6 Full Days

b) Academic Hours: 30 Hours Min

c) Require Dives: 6 Open Water Dives (300 minutes bottom time)

d) Technical Diving Training Sites: Island of Cozumel, Q.roo, Mexico. Also my training is available in Playa del Carmen, Tulum, and Akumal, also in the state of Yucatan (City of Merida) or other foreign countries with open water conditions for Rebreather Diving.

e) Certification Level: The candidate must be Advanced Open Water Diver or 2 Star Diver, Nitrox Diver with at least 50 non training dives with Nitrox and Air in log book.

Training Agency: Once the candidate approves all the requirements a certification can be issued through the Mexican Federation of Diving Activities (FMAS) and with an international recognition by the World Underwater Federation (CMAS)

Course Cost: 1 Diver 1,200, 00 usd, 2 or more Divers 1,000, 00 usd.

This is an advanced level certification course for divers wishing to utilize an Electronic Closed Circuit Rebreather for Trimix Diving.

The objective of the course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for diving an Electronic Closed Circuit Rebreather and to develop basic eCCR diving skills to a maximum of 75 meters (250 ft) using Trimix as a diluent, decompression diving is allowed and require on this program.

This program also covers the training for conducting CCR decompression dives with air in the diluent bottle.

The diver must use a lift bag and carry an air or nitrox bailout bottles during the class, and in practical dives according the dive plan and deco plan, assuming a bail out in open circuit.

c) Require Dives: 8 Open Water Dives (400 minutes bottom time)

e) Certification Level: The candidate must be Advanced Open Water Diver or 2 Star Diver, Nitrox Diver, Basic Closed Circuit Rebreather Diver, Entry Level Trimix Open Circuit Diver with at least 150 non training dives with Nitrox, Air, and Trimix dives, and also 50 hours using the NAUTILUS CCR UNIT. Proof of CCR experience.
